The circa 1892 Queen Anne style home of Victorian-era Charlotte Mayor Sam McNinch has served for the last 22 years as the McNinch House Restaurant.  In the historic Fourth Ward home of original chef and owner Ellen Davis, guests can expect to be treated like royalty during their multi-course culinary journey.  Executive Chef Chris Coleman prepares each course from the finest available ingredients to create your evening's menu.  Featuring Charlotte's most carefully constructed wine list, our legendary wine pairings offer sophisticated accompaniment to our cuisine, or choose that special bottle to enjoy.

Michel Picard Wine Dinner

 

We are happy to announce that on Thursday, May 23rd, we will be
hosting our first wine dinners of the year! For this event, we are
pleased to be presenting the wines of Michel Picard Winery.The
Picard family’s wines reflect the passion, thoroughness and enjoyment
they have put into their work for several generations: a pioneering
grandfather; a father, Michel, who, as a youngster, was introduced to
the products of the Burgundy terroir, an entrepreneur who played a
major role in the winery’s development.

The family owns parcels of vines in the communes of
Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Corton,
Mercurey, Givry, Rully and Montagny, working a total of 135 hectares
of vines on 5 estates and using environmentally-friendly methods.

This event will begin at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 23rd, and is
all-inclusive at a cost of $125 per person.

2013 Wine Tastings

We are set to "pop the cork" for the new 2013 Wine Tasting season!5:30pm-7:30pm on Monday, May 20th.
Our next tasting of this 2013 season features One Hope Wines by Robert
Mondavi Jr.
Half of all profits from these award-winning Napa & Sonoma wines go to
support various charitable causes, including Breast Cancer Research,
US Troops, Childhood Hunger, Environmental Awareness, Autism Research,
Pediatric AIDS, and Pet Adoption Services.

5:30pm-7:30pm on Monday, May 20th.
The cost is $25 per person with RSVP.

Please note : Event times for our 2013 Wine Tastings has changed to begin at 5:30pm and will end at 7:30pm.
